Surpresas/Surprises

Ainda ando a mondar o jardim.

I'm still weeding. With all the rain in the last few days and the warm temperatures weeds have grown a lot. In the middle of all the weeds I found two things that made my day. A few lavender seedlings growing in the garden, meaning that my French lavender is self sowing.

And this volunteer. I don't really know what it is (looks like some sort of Centaurea) but I liked the plant. I decided to let it grow and see how it will look in the garden.

I find it beautiful. Let's see how it behaves in the garden.

How nice to read that you got some much needed rain! The wonderful thing is that after it has rained many surprises spring up from the ground. Some are not so nice (weeds) and some are very nice like this lovely plant and the grape hyacinth you found earlier.
